Dodge makes the best American engines I think, so I agree your engine is very nice.

1 step below the 300C (The interior looks like a 300C base, toned down a bit) Nice car, nice color. A bit too compact for me, but, regardless. nice car. Nicer than most kids got lol
If the physical look of the car is sleek, a hot color can be used. The only reason why my current I35 is silver is because I was tired of standing out to the police (My first 2 G35's were fire red).
Long story short don't be gettin' a yellow nissan pathfinder, or equivalent non sporty/edgy cars in bright stand out colors.
Usually american cars, IMO, especially the ones that try to push luxury, are ugly. But chrysler and some newer cadilacs got mad nice (No, not the escalade)

And not to be a downer, but there are quite a few cars for 12k that I would rather get than a Sebring, but to each his/her own. But it's good you're buying 'Merican
Yeah, if I had the choice I would've gotten a better one. But trust me, the cars at this dealership are pieces of poop. I ran the service history on other cars, and most of them had leaking oil gaskets (or no oil gasket at all), broken struts, no brakes, missing valves, and so on. This was probably the best one within my price range. Heck, the car they tried selling me before this had tires so bald it makes Britney Spears jealous. =P And so far the only thing wrong with it, is it has no fluid for the windshield wiper. But I get that free at work.
Thanks. It's not technically a luxury vehicle, just came like that cuz of the limited edition style. Only prob I have with leather is the heat factor during summer. -.-
As for Cadilacs, forget them.

Technically it's as base line as luxury gets, that's what Chrysler tries to push, being the "more exspensive" dodge. =p
It's base, yeah, but, you acquired the version with more options and if you were to look at the interior of that car, especially the dash setup, compared to a dodge, it's similar, but a step up.
in a nutshell be good. only go 25 mph over the speed limit. any further is dangerous. ;]

Dodges and Chrysler cars are similar because they are both MoPar (Motor Parts), which is owned by Chrysler. Also part of MoPar is Jeep (at least I think it is still), also AMC and Plymouth were once MoPar's
Dodge cars like the Avenger and Caliber have the same platform (pretty much the frame) as your Sebring, thats also why they are very similar. (Which is based off of a platform from when Mitsubishi and Chrysler were partners)

Because I got my very first car.
Yup. I'm proud of myself. $12,000 well spent. Hence the thread. But it sorta needs a point, so I wanna hear your comments on it. "Comments" as in friendly stuff. I don't want posts on here about "OH YOUR CAR SUCKS TROLOLOLOLOL". -.-

Haha, yeah I work. It's a small job, but it pays the bills. :3 About half my paycheck goes to the monthly payment. And I get paid twice a month. So... doing the math... I'll have plenty of extra cash.
Yeah, I need some extra security on it, esp. living in Chicago. Probably a better aftermarket alarm.

Financing a car takes at least 32 months, unless you put $7000 down on it or something.
Or if your parents are very generous and don't mind you staying there (assuming you do live with them), or your girlfriend has a decent paying job as well.
Well, it's a total of 39 months (with the warranty added onto it, as the manufactor's warranty was about to expire) and I have no other bills to pay on the side. I only laid down 2k bucks, but that alone decreased my payments by a lot. And my girlfriend makes a little bit less than me, only by like 50 bucks though.
It didn't help that the seller tried screwing me over big time (big surprise, it's a car salesman) by trying to make my monthly payments go down by ten bucks... but the length be for 72 months.
Again with math, I would rather be paying the $13,000 total for it now, rather than $24,000.
Either way, our insurance + car payments + gas + excess spending leaves us with enough left over, just in case.
