Commentary Night Event?

I picked this up from a recent server I visited. Have a couple people go Spectator and provide real-time announcer commentary on the match. It was a lot of fun when I played, and provided a great deal of variety to an otherwise ordinary pub. Everyone seemed to play better overall as well. Just something to think about for adding a little spice

I've been on EGO servers where NZ17 or HWG were given the go-ahead to be an announcer and it was hilarious :laugh:

I remember this being done a long time ago in the Turbine server. It was just a bunch of eGO members, Leadership and a couple of long time pubs and one of them decided to hope into spec with alltalk enabled and began giving a commentary on the fighting. It made the server a lot more interesting to say the least...

I remember that. I think HWG/Dave was the guy doing it. I might be wrong, but it was hilarious none the less.

You raise a valid point. While I can't speak for anyone else, I'm rather confident that issue won't be a problem w/ me. Since apparently no special permission is needed, I'll post here the nights I'm planning to be online.
