Do I need a DVI-I cable to make my graphics card work ( EVGA 8800 GS)?
I currently have a evga nvidia 8500GT and it's running great and I plug in the DVI colored (blue) slot.
Now I upgraded to a evga e-geforce 8800GS but it doesnt show a DVI port or w/e its called. It only shows a 2 DVI-I colored (white) do I need to buy a DVI-I cable for it work because when not including the DVI-I and put all the wires back, it makes a loud screeching noise when turn on my pc. SO please answer and help me.
