So fisrt thing first This is a review of the Google Chrome OS Notebook here the specs of it:

CPU: Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N455 @ 1.66GHz
Hard drive: 16.0 GB SanDisk SSD
RAM: 2GB
Touchpad: Synaptic
USB: 1
Graphics: Intel Corporation Pineview Integrated Graphics Controller

Ok now i got that out of the way

This is my review of it

This netbook is in beta stage of it it has some good sound out of it and is really nice just for browsing the net.Im going to put more review on here in a week because i just got it today.

Few days pass and is been promising.Well a little. Why, Because its really weird how the mouse work and i know is the pilot but it can be promising it dosent have a mp3 player i know it just for a internet netbook but really i thing it cab do better.Well read that u can put Ubuntu on it but its a big project heres the link for guide da guide . well i will keep updating this so se u in a few days

damn so lucky......i applied for the pilot program the day after it was put up. I hope to get one to play around with an review also.
 
I checked the tracker and there is one being shipped to my zip code. It's scheduled to get here on the 22nd.
If it's mine, early Christmas present from Google? :D

WTH i want one......when did u apply?

I saw the posting when it first was posted but didn't think much of it....mother ****** i shouldve applied right when it was out and not have waited a whole day.

Go to EVGA's website. Intel and them are giving out some SSD's and P55 motherboards. Geforce website is giving out a $900 laptop as well.
 
okay thanks!! hopefully i win something lol

I just bought a SSD though, should be arriving tomorrow and its Vertex 2 which is better than the Intels i believe.

Might be able to pick up 2xGTX 470 for only $340 total :) trying to contact the seller right now haha

Theyre worth it.....i picked up a Vertex 2 60GB for $100

It has the new sandforce and does consistently about 280 read and 280 write, its crazy, its like one of the fastest SSD out there on the market pretty much.

If you think about it, your only going to be mainly using it for OS boot, and a few games/applications. Everything else can just go on a regular mechanical hard drive so you don't need ridiculous amount of storage.

Can't wait to get it and try it out

just got the email like 2 weeks ago about it cause i use to do testing like the early version of this and i just got this email about the netbook so i had to get it

i know im just wating for that xmax money to flow lulz oh and im typing this on the same netbook hate this small keaboard

I checked the tracker again and it has at 3 of them being shipped to my zip code. I'm fairly confident one of those is going to be mine.
 
hey so if I signed up on the 15th when should I start to look for one coming to my area? like monday or should I just give up hope?

if u got it in the 15 of this month u should be geting it in a week or 2 but remember this is just if u r eligible
