Which GPU option should i go with?

lulzzz shiiiiit..........i need wisdom fellow eGO forum members.

Should i splurge on these two 480's and get absolute performance while being king of the kill on these forums :P for $500

or should i take a smarter path of wisdom and not spend absolutely every cent i have and go with a cheaper crossfire setup?

you would not win. Maybe at some 3d things. We have a guy with 3xSli 480s somewhere. And you certainly don't win 2d benches because we have a guy with dual quad xeons.

Didn't you say you had some really bad flicker sometimes? I wouldn't call that working fine.

I was being serious. If you're going to college, and you're not bringing your tower, why spend so much money on it now? You can only buy one, then have extra spending money for whatever.

Yea, hmmm let me think it over. Thing is i can probably get around $200 for my tri-fires, then christmas is coming up so im probably gonna be getting all cash from that, couple hundred i say.

Then hopefully i get a part time job when i turn 18 :)

Time to meditate lulz
 
How much would you sell just one for? I kind of want one for a small lan rig. lol.
 
wow.....guy with the GTX 480's pulled out at the last minute.

I think im gonna just keep my tri-fire but i'll get rid of them if a good offer comes up, just PM me.
