I used to play in a server that had events from time to time. An admin would restrict avalible weaps every couple rounds or so. Everyone could be resrticted to only one specific main weap. "Wild West" rounds restricted every one to a pistol and pump action shotgun. The round where everyone had just a grenade and knife only couldnt be mentioned without offending some.
The restricted rounds broke up the monotany of the days. They were unique and quite popular. Heck, I still remember those rounds after all these years.

Yeah, I am the Event Coordinator for The former FBG Sunday/New Shoot 'Em Up. My events are usually just what you mentioned, and sometimes I switch each one up differently. My events are mostly Sunday Nights at 9 PM EST. So pm me with any questions and I can clear up with you how the event works.

And for those of you who miss FBG Sunday so much, I apologize because I wasn't quite aware how many of you really loved that event. I didn't hear anyone come to me and ask what happened to FBG Sunday, that's why I changed the format of the event, but if you guys like the old way I hosted FBG sundays, I can bring that stuff back but just keep the name Shoot 'Em Up .

And yes. This does sound a lot like our former FBG Sunday event. I do miss it because it was a nice way to just mess around with guns I probably have never used in real games.
