Cant remove GUI

Hello guys, i havent really played CS:S since i joined eGO and last time i played CS:S i installed some GUI called Rootcat. The problem is there is a range if things that dosent work with the GUI, example when i hit tab to see players and scores it dosent display any names or scores just their avatar pictures.

Does anyone know how i can delete the GUI? I tried to reinstall cs:s earlier today but i still got the rootcat GUI... :facewall:
 
Go ahead and look in your program files, if you see it there delete it and restart CSS. If that doesn't work you might have to post in the tech help forum.
 
Go to your cstrike folder (If you don't know how to get there, just ask) and I am pretty sure the GUI is either in materials or models. Go to one of those and delete the GUI from there and all should be dandy.

Well, i think I found the GUI you were looking talking about, and after brief searching, I found a download for it (I hope I did lol). I ended up downloading it myself and trying it out, while at the same time I moved my personal folders out onto my desktop, so I could see what folders/files would return.

Well after 10 minutes of goofing around, waiting for my slow hard drive, I realized I could just download the .exe and extract the files into a new folder to see the files needed to be deleted lol. That I did, and I found out that these folders will have to be searched and deleted in your cstrike folder:

Its quite extensive, but you also have to check your materials, resource, roccat, and scripts folders:

I also found a uninstall program, but it didn't work lol. Wouldn't matter so much to you, since you reinstalled css (the uninstall wouldn't be there).

Strange... I cant find any files that has anything to do with roccat in my steamapps/counter-strike folders or anywhere else. I also tried to search for roccat on my computer and delete all files there. Dident change anything either.
 
I have the Roccat GUI and there is an uninstaller. If you can't find this (I had it in my Program files folder) Then delete your " Resource " folder in Cstrike.

I took it of to, The update really messed most GUI's up like the scoreboard when you use this.

Cstrike - Materials - Console - Then delete background01 and background01_widescreen if you have both.
