Best graphics card for the price?

I am running a Nvidia GT 240 that came with my pc, and it ain't that good. What is the best one for the money? i Don't need to run Crysis on ultra, but I would like a little better and be able to run New Vegas on Ultra with no lag.

the GTS 450 and radeon 5770 are pretty good performers for the $$$.

But it really all depends on your budget.

GTX 460 1GB is king @ $200. There's no doubt about that.

Yes. Your school year ends around June, right? Ask again within the month you will be getting it. Computer tech advances quickly.

The GTX 460 is the most decent card for your asking price range in my opinion. It will last you a long time that's for sure. In the mean time though just focus on attaining them good grades... Gaming at ultra high graphics at screaming high frame rates will come shortly after.

Also, how old is your computer? Might be better off getting a 5770 and more ram, or whatever else might be lacking.
