Need help

I know this is the place but so far I've had no luck in tech help with questions like this but I just picked up BC2 last night and when I try to connect to any eGO server it says server not responding I was wondering if anyone had a fix for this

Might be because EA crashed. They are going through a lot right now with releasing Vietnam for different consoles and updating all of the servers/fixing bugs. Might have been just that time that they were down.

could be I haven't tried any other servers but theres a pretty good sized list to choose from and not a single eGO server is on there and I can't connect from the website :/

Check your search filters, uncheck all filters and regions then search for =(eGO)=
This should find the servers, if not just add a member and favorite the ego server they are in, kudos if you already fixed this, if not +1 me for awesome sauce!

I must say +1 for what you said I did that but only the 24/7 Hardcore Mixed Mode server came up I guess that all I can play... oh well time to get crackin on some BC2

Check the Punkbuster updates, if you have it? If you don't go http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bc2.php click PBsetup link and DL it.

Make sure your copy of BC2 is updated completely. If you didn't purchase it through steam, go into BC2 folder in which you installed the game and click on BFBC2 Updater instead of game.
