Banned from Vent

Think there was a mistake or a problem. I was playing BC2, was just listening then suddenly was kicked and banned from Vent?

Anyone help me?

I don't understand what you're saying with this post. I don't see a contest ban thread under the link mayhem gave you, so unless you fill that out you're probably not going to be unbanned.

I think he is referring to the person who kicked him.

I can tell you in the past I have been kicked with that reason but never banned and when I asked an eGO about it they explained sometimes to make room for events or meetings they do a mass kick on all guests to get rid of the full afk people to make room for more people in vent. Not sure if maybe it could be the same thing or not?

Everyone in vent besides dl's, advisors, council etc are vied as guests on our vent server, so I dont think that would be the case. I think it was probably a lag kick, or something.

OP, just file a contest request and you'll get it revoked.

If you were banned for "spamming." you could have been adjusting settings or simply pressing your push-to-talk button too many times or too long(accidently or not) it may have banned you. This has been known to happen. Check your settings! Make sure you haven't accident turned a commonly used key into your push-to-talk key. I had a problem with my setting for push-to-talk before and didnt know it untill someone had said something about it. Contest the ban and you should be allowd back in. I hope this helps you.
