OK, I've got two drives in right now. The main one is SATA, and the secondary is IDE. The IDE drive is set to "Slave", but when I plug it into the power-supply, my computer won't boot. It's really annoying.

It says that I'm missing a boot file or that it's corrupt. Any ideas?

You can just tell us what it is doing now, you have to tell us how you got here. Did youjust install windows - are you moving them, rearanging them, get a new drive or something. When was the last time it worked and how was it set up then.

If you just added the drive and are having this problem you may need to check your boot device priority to make sure that its trying to boot from the right hard drive. It sounds like its trying to boot from the wrong one.

Well, I've got it set up so the SATA HDD is the one my computer boots from.

It worked fine up until I cleaned out a couple files I didn't need anymore (none of them WINDOWS drivers), then it wouldn't let me access it until I formated it.

Now, if I plug it into the power-supply, it won't let my computer boot at all.

I'm sorry but you have to be more detailed and answer all of my original questions. And also, if they werent important how do you deduce that this happened? Plus, what do you mean by 'i deleted some files and then it wouldnt let me access it untill i formated'

Please be as detailed as possible as you describe the exact set up before and after the deleting anf formatting.
