Morning BFBC2 Division,
KentuckyGhost here, I am a new member in your Division and eGO Organization and I like to take this time to introduce myself. Well first of all I like to start by saying I really enjoy playing with some of you Battlefield members on eGO servers you guys are really good and fun to play with.
My first name is David, I am 47 years old (A Old Fart) yeah that?s what you young pups can us old Vets! I currently live in Tennessee, but I was born and raised in hills of Kentucky. Well guys and girls I served most of my life in the military from 1981 -2003, two combat tours in Afghanistan and two combat tours in Iraq, my last combat tour in Iraq our Chopper went down and I received my 9th related combat injury which forced me to end my career. After retiring I pick up my old job again working Law Enforcement for the Henderson County Sheriff Department and EMT first Responder service for State of Kentucky and just recently after finishing my degrees I have once again started my new career working for State of Tennessee as a IT Technicians by doing this I am hanging up my gun and vest. Wife happy!
I started gaming years ago, started out mostly playing on Half-Life 2 (HL2), Day of Defeat Source (DODS). Never been part of any Clan or Unit. Don?t play DODS or HL2 a lot anymore. I have been assisting as a Senior Administrator for over 3 years with a Community group called Mayhem Gaming Online (MGO) http://www.mayhemgamingonline.com I help moderate there forums and servers admins and I been working with their owner for a long time great folks. Also I create a small steam group called The Renegades http://steamcommunity.com/groups/snakeeyesrenegades The Renegades came from my old military squad. My squad was a bunch renegades, but they all believed in duty loyalty integrity courage. That?s all I even ask from them and anymore guys.
My steam name is Snake Eyes, my son and I came up with Daddy steam name because we both love the character Snake Eyes from the movie GI Joe. Sorry folks I won?t change it for anyone, so don?t ask please. Well the name KentuckyGhost, well that name was dubbed to me when I first join the military in 1981. My Commander called me that because I was like a like ghost I scared the crap out my commander, but this bad for the enemy I was like a Ghost, I killed more bad guys in a unit before they knew what heck hit them our command love it.
Like I mention in the above paragraph I don?t play much anymore HL2 or DODS, since I purchase BC2 and COD Black Ops awhile back and I love BC2 a lot better sorry Black OPS fans. I am not great player but we hold our own, my son likes to do the shooting and I do the driving in BC2 tanks and other vehicles. We call it father and son team work. I am looking forward to working with eGO community and meeting new friends and possibility long service with the BFBC2 Division.
