I was trolling around and read Noise964's sig.

I am bashing rap right now, rap is terrible... its not music nor is it poetry. Rappers are typically harsh and say some pretty nasty things...

If Noise doesnt reply to this in 30 minutes, the pizza is free.
 
Run-DMC, Beastie Boys, B.I.G, and Tupac. Everyone else is fail.





I forgot Eminem. I'm adding him too.

I'd like to know what kind of music you listen to? Gospel? Every kind of music is usually harsh, and obviously you have never heard of Brother Ali, he raps and he is probably the nicest guy in the world.

As for your thread? I personally think it's pointless. Cool story on your opinion, I'm sure you feel much better now that everyone on a gaming forum knows your stance on hip-hop. ;)

As for me, Rap is straight up LEGIT. Born & raised through the best years of rap.. Maybe My new york upbringing helped since rap is popular around here (30 min east of queens/NYC).

BUT. The crap you hear now on HOT 97 and Such is wack, and all fashion rap. Mad wack. Drake, Lil wayne, etc. Garbage. ALL southern rappers = untalented Garbage. The south made rap a joke. Only good thing about southern rappers is the beat and the bass.


Old school rap 89- 01 = the best.

Sometimes there are a few good songs these days, but it's mostly all fake stuff IMO. Nothing anyone can relate to except for the fake artists throwing it out.

Some of it is good, some of it isn't. Some of rock is amazing, some isn't. I live in the South, so all I hear is Southern rap, which is not my favorite.

Who are you to define what music is? Music is any collaboration of sounds that are pleaseing to the ear. I say ROCK isnt music, who wants to hear someone scream about how they are sad and wana kill themselves? (See i can say something thats ignorant too) If you maybe would listen to the lyrics of an actual good rapper you will understand the skill, consontraton, timing, and intustion it takes to to put together flowing ryming lyrics. You may hear someone like Soldja boy and THINK this is what rap is, but your wrong. As for lyrical content, I dont see you complaining about rock songs with crazy stuff in it (you know its out there). Basicly I wana know what drives you to post such an obvious troll? Is it to make people mad? cuz im LIVID. >:D enjoy your day.
