Favorite knife brand?

I can't really say much on just knives in general but cooking knives I know a lot about. The best on the market in my opinion for those are Shun Knives hands down. The company that makes them used to make katanas and other samurai swords back in ancient Japan. The knives are crazy sharp and I would recommend them to anyone.
 
Whatever the knife in CSS is. Great for killing those pesky Ct's in jail.

You also run faster with it.
 
Leather mans are probably the best tool on the market! they have many knifes, as well as screw drivers, alan keys... anything! Not overly expensive either :)

Not sure if you already got one, but Gerber makes good knives. A little on the pricey side but mine has lasted me since around, well, as long as I can remember. They're great steel quality that doesn't rust or chip. Mine is non serrated, straight up knife, and I even use it for things like opening bottles, prying wood, and screwing in screws. Give it a look, you won't be disappointed.
