Hopefully they will give us the option to have just a small dot as a crosshair? I do that in TF2 and DoD:S.

I think that CS:S will eventually be updated to the new Source engine once it comes out. You can only update a game so much.

You can make the main crosshair to minimum thickness which causes it to disappear so that you can only see the dot.
