So I got phished, yeah I did. Go ahead and laugh. Just kidding. Anyways, I can't log into my main account on steam, and I'm pretty sure the email was changed because when I try to retrieve my password via email I never get one. SteamPowered hasn't answered any of my support tickets. What do I do?

Did you send steam support your credit card details which you used to buy any game on your account in the valid format? If not then you need to go do that, or send them a CD key that is one of the games used on your account in the format they ask for.

When did you send in the ticket? Its the holiday weekend so most of support is probably on vacation.

You don't need either atleast I didn't.

When I lost all my info for everything on Steam I told them I needed a master reset because I couldn't remember any of it and couldn't reset it. In about a day or two I got my account back. Just send them an email and wait for the best :D

Well did you tell them in the subject line from the drop down it was hijacked? they tend to respond faster to those than forgotten information, also giving them a cd key makes the process go faster to prove it is u. also the holidays i lost my account december 24th put in a ticket and they fixed it on December 25th SO id say they still work on holidays

Just be patience and how would they change your email? they would have to of phished your email account too

When my accounted got hijacked it took them 5 days to reply and 3 weeks to get it back for me.

Steam account name for hijacked account
The original contact e-mail for the account
Select ?Account Questions? as the category and ?Hijacked or Stolen Account? as the subcategory.
Proof of purchase for the account as outlined below:
If retail software is registered to the account, attach a digital photo or scan of the CD Key registered to the account. Write the Steam account username on the quick reference card or CD Key sticker below the code in permanent ink.
Really? Try looking at what valve tells you to do before giving out false advise.

Valve doesn't hire a proper Customer Service team. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a dozen monkeys in a small computer lab.

Give it time and they'll respond/Maybe you'll get some work of Shakespeare in your inbox
