I just took advantage of the first Steam deal that caught my eye this season (BC2 for $6). I've been waiting to play this game since its release, and I'm excited to join up. I hope this will provide a less frustrating experience than Black Ops. See you in a day or two!

Trust me, BC2 is far more enjoyable and immersing than either MW2 or BO. ;]

right now its installing pbsvc_bc2.exe step 3/3 for the first time set up. its been going on for about 30 minutes, is it supposed to take this long?

Ahhh I <3 the Winter Steam Sales. I bought my brother, a co-worker, and a Friend a copy of BFBC2 during this sale when it was $6.79.
My brother is starting to really liking the game. He use to play a lot of Counter-strike a long time ago (Pre-1.3) And I dont think he has played an FPS since. Hes more of a Strat player and plays a lot of SC2.
My Co-Worker was really happy that I got him the game but he is more of a Single-Player Mode Gamer. I told him that hes missing all the fun of the game but he is satisfied.
My Friend, cant play the game at all because his computer specs cannot handle the game, but I believe he is upgrading soon.
This is in no way like MW2 so don't expect that and i recommend you watch the video someone posted for new players because it will get you started in the right direction and always remember, it's always rough starting out but win or lose just have fun! and collect Kerak's dog tags frequently by applying a knife to his forehead with the center mouse button. ;-)
