I'm frustrated. I have been a respectable FPS/3PS since the original Doom/Wolfenstein... so I'm no amateur.

I play in the EGO servers because there is a great deal of competitiveness and a lot of familiar names have come over from BC2 to Vietnam..

Unfortunately, earlier... There was a blatant hacker in the server. It was frustrating, because I felt as I was being singled out. I've always kept my cool in your servers, but this was beyond frustrating.

I was temporarily kicked for 'language'... It's a rule, I broke it. Understandable. But why in the world would the admin not see to the hacker, and kick me??

Mini rant, but... Having a "no-foul language" rule on a game that specifically states it's rating as "M" on their website... For "blood, strong language and violence".. it's rather silly.

Similar to the us government outlawing marijuana... it's natural, it came from OUR Earth. It wasn't brewed or made in a lab... such as beer or pharmaceuticals... and they're legal. Just plain silly.

I understand though, your server... your rules. There are plenty others to play in but I do enjoy seeing the usual people.. so that's why I stay.

My request, pay attention to what's important during gameplay... Hacking should not be accepted, unless the particular server allows it... it interferes with gameplay. My language does not. But I will abide to your rules. ;)

Although it is unfortunate that this had happen, but there is no way to prove that someone is hacking unless they use a speed hack or an aim bot in BC2. But, you can submit a ban request (link) and we, the BC2 Leadership, will review it and decide whether the accused is hacking or not.

Also, as for the "language rule", you said that the game is rated M for blood, strong language, and violence. That is true. But it also says "Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB". That means we can admin our servers to keep out racism/foul language and such as we see fit. Although you felt that you were singled out, it's like you said; It was a rule and you broke it. We do keep an eye on our servers and the ban request forums proves that we're constantly doing our best to keep punks and hackers out of our servers. Hopefully, we can still cross paths in our servers for a good match or two.
