So Im looking to buy myself an LCD HDTV this week. Here are the specifics:

Has to be at least 32" (I believe my current tv is either 24 or 26")
My price limit is $300 (depending upon the item, I am willing to stretch the buck)
I will not sell myself out (meaning that I wont go for some no-name product that either noone has ever heard of or some really cheap name brand).

I have already searched newegg.com, but their deals are still the same as over the weekend. I did check Walmarts site, but didnt notice anything spectacular either. If you know of a site that has an absolutely amazing sale on a tv, please forward me the info asap!

I would highly recommend against Hannspree/Hanns-G. Their customer service / support is notoriously horrendous, and they're just plain not very reputable in any department that I've heard of -- perhaps their prices are solid, but that's not quite worth it when it comes to something like a TV (a possession that you may own for YEARS). IMHO, it's worth it to invest in a good brand even if it means an extra $15, $35, or even $60 or more -- this is an item that you COULD keep around for years to come, but probably won't if you pick a mediocre brand. Sometimes the brand really does matter.

To pertain more to the actual topic (Sorry for my rant!), I'm not sure if you're going to have much luck finding a solid 32" HDTV around $300 unless they're on sale -- I mean REALLY on sale -- but then again I don't know how much the prices have dropped lately. I mean, heck, my brother paid almost a grand for his 46" but this was years ago...

EDIT: A couple of things you should look for if you didn't already know: Don't forget 1080p support -- some of them are 1080i or don't even support truly high-definition resolutions.
