Ow:O I know I have been playing my usual (example 20:10) for the last week and my score was at 6,000 and now is close to 5,000:facewall:
14 caps isnt team work? had the most on my team
could have been complainin long before now...was at like 8800 pts...

This is why i stopped paying attention to my ranking a long time ago. It's more fun IMO to just sit back and play the game.

If this is a rant thread i guess ill toss mine out here. I HATE hearing about people losing points. If it was up to me they would be done away with. I have them turned off so i dont have to see or worry about them. Anyone that has played DoD or any other video game knows that points dont mean everything. Yes some players have excellent KDRs but those same players normally dont capture flags that ultimately result in a win. I think that the people with the most points are just better at hiding than most other players. DoD is team based and people complaining about points just make it clear to me that they worry about the wrong things.
I have a ton of respect for most of our members but ive never been one to enjoy whining or even worse, listening to people whine. My suggestion to everyone is:
PLAY THE GAME, FORGET ABOUT THE POINTS! :chair:

14 caps on flash? I usually have 40 - 50 when its a 32/32 the most i had was 200
way to brag Dutch, whatever happened to modesty? as for the points, i keep track, but in the end I dont care about them, its my performance for the team that I care about, ok, I am 45-20, I have 10 flag caps, 3 of them winners, but I am still -200 points, somehow, I figure that the point system doesnt always mean that I am playing poorly!

It does not seem to me that your crying or whining about the points reduction situation (you do state that your sad though).... your only pointing out the facts.
This is a game people, and aren't "points" usually associated with most games ?
Seems to me its more like felt you fought hard and did your part for the good of Country and team ,(sometimes when one side holds the mid you cap less flags) explains the low flag capture to Bio's K/D ratio that someone was so humble to point out.... and your only gain was a loss of points.
Honestly, i feel ya man.
Trust me,it bothers most people(not all) I,ve thought in my mind (whats left of it) exactly what you posted her more than once . You are good team mate ,keep it up.
Try camping out a couple kills before running out to grab flags when the newer players are on...:blushing:

sorry it took so long to reply to this...had to read the other posts multiple times to find where someone asked how many caps youve gotten...i got my kills and caps leadin the charge with a K98...not a nub tube...
Bio is a team player and is willing to run into trouble (such as nading a pesky mger, etc), part of the reason his stats arent as high as some. But lets not get into the weapon issue, all weapons are available to all, use what you like.

Try playing other maps where there might be higher ranking opponents?
been trying to play donner more to broaden my horizons...but thats about as far as im willing to take it...the anzio server doesnt seem to like me any more so i dont play there much...and im not a fan of ava and strand....
Yeah I really don't care about the points, but it's just the principle of losing the points.
Anyway I know some people care about their points just don't go this far:glare:

If you get a good KDR why even worry about points? Thread after thread of people complaining about losing point but getting a good score in game. You got a good score in game, stop whining! The point system has always been like this, it's not a new thing. Rants don't bring up your score, or make new members stop taking 25 points. Sorry, no offense to anyone, I'm just getting tired of people whining about the point system.

I am with biohazrd on this one...all the new meats joinng our servers and having fun is awesome...but on the downside i lost 400 points and having a very hard time catching up..and I understand stormys position "just play and have fun"...but the point system adds another element to the game...its fun to try to get more points and i think iam a better player because of it..for example i went up 4000 points once i started to improve my skillz...but the points system is a double edge sword...i find myself swearing and hitting things when i get killed by 3 new guys in a row..thats like 75 points you know how hard i worked for those points!!!
