Hello All

[Fobbit]

Just wanted to say hi to the community/division and introduce myself a bit.

Ingame I go by Fobbit. The name is given to people who deploy overseas, but never go off the FOB (Forward Operating Base). Its a bit of a put down, but I don't use it that way. I wasn't ever a fobbit, but I appreciated what they did. How would my patrols have ever been successful if there weren't people back on base there to support us right? Oh, and I am an Iraq veteran. I was on a tiny little dustbowl of a FOB, FOB Grizzly to be exact. If anyone else was in Iraq, here's a reference: FOB was about an 8 minute chinook ride east of LSA Anaconda.

I used to belong to a BF2 Clan called Banned Brothers. We were an offshoot from a BF1942 tanking clan called United Soldiers Force, or USF. Yes, I have been playing the battlefield series since BF1942...what a game that was. Still wish that some of these newer BF games included artillery spotting like 42 did, that was fun!

I live in the southern suburbs of Denver, CO. I work from home as a web developer (PHP is da best). I am an avid fly fisherman...though I went yesterday and got skunked...winter fly fishing be da hard ya? I also do some homebrewing. I have a ~7.8% ABV ~65 IBU India Pale Ale bottle conditioning right now! Also, under contract for a house and the wife is due around August 23rd. Crazy stuff going on in life right now!

See, this is where I believe I may be more of a gentleman... I would never ask you to move, I simply chose the weapon with the largest blast radius, noob it, and hope for the best. This way, the customers don't have to strain themselves.
