once you get used to the style of play im sure you'll love it =P

Its like nothing else really. Except TF1... But just try it.. You'll be hooked.

If you're comparing TF2 to another FPS like Bad Company 2 or CS:S, I can understand about the whole moving around aspect. It's very fast paced (more reminiscent of something like Unreal Tournament), which could be off-putting. I think you'll get more out of the game once you find a game mode you enjoy more, like capture the flag or capture point.

BTW, this seems more like a discussion for the TF2 division and Kilroy is right, look around the TF2 forums or talk to some of us, we'll show you the ropes.

7.5 is a decent score. Some people have their likes and dislikes about video games, that's why you shouldn't take reviews to heart. But 7.5 is a good score out of 10.

It's a game review, not a review of what the person actually is used to. I've never seen a score given to this game that low by a real reviewer, such as an average created by metacritic. A lot of people say that 5 is average, that's not the case in reality, if you've seen games rated under 7 you will know that they are usually badly made and not really fun unless you're a serious fan. 7.5 is average. Anything over 8 is a success and for the amount of work that valve put into this game and it's updates I don't think it's "average". Also your post barely means anything because you hadn't continued it on; your example has no motive or explanation behind it.

The only game I've ever played that was even sort of similar to TF2 is Killzone 2.
