Don't know if we have any Caps fans here (but we're sure to have some Pens fans) but just wanted to say CONGRATS to the Caps on a BIG win in Pittsburgh tonight in the Winter Classic. Ice was sloppy and conditions were far from perfect but OUTSTANDING game.

Oh, I thought you were talking about all-caps mode... in that case, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Win is a win however I hate these type of conditions as I'd like a level playing field. Nonetheless, Caps outworked the Pens.

Its a level playing field because they are all on the same ice...

Anyways, I too live just outside D.C., and Caps games are really intense, and probably the most fun sporting event I've ever been to. The Caps have the best fans and it makes the games just awesome.

So if the Colts play at the Gillette stadium during -30C snow vs. the Patriots, because they're on the same field, that's considered a level playing field? One team is used to a dome, the other used to frigid temperatures. Please.

You could tell Washington was taking advantage.. let's put them in an actual hockey arena and let them play, and see the outcome. These games are stupid to play during the regular season.

washington ice is pretty bad with the Wizards and concerts playing in it, but it's not like either team was used to playing outside and on wet ice, I don't think they had an advantage that the pens couldn't have taken as well

I am extremely happy that the Capitals won the Winter Classic. Also, Fluxion, I doubt that anybody would be playing or even in attendance at a Patriot's game, or any function at Gillette, in -22 degree Fahrenheit weather.

I bet they did allot of shouting in order to win whatever they were playing :p

Was not pleased with the outcome of the game. But just have to say. Pens will always be amazing.
