Very nice job YSD. But youre going to have to go further back. Start off with the Romans expanding into Europe. Or maybe the Greeks since they influence the Romans. Maybe just start off with the first land-dwelling animals and work from there.

Encyclopedia Britannica

War since 1900 (Great book)
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Cambridge-Illustrated-History-Warfare-Histories/dp/0521738067/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1294131154&sr=1-5"]The Cambridge Illustrated History of Warfare[/ame] (I expected JUST maps and things like that that I love to look at, but it was like History of War + pictures, so I returned it to the library. Also, this book almost made me start with 1815 but I don't much like the Napoleonic era lol)
