Skins/models and sounds

[sniper lessons]

When I used to play DOD (long before steam was even around), different models and skins were available to change the appearance of the game. Are these still available and used? If they are, what are you favorite skins, models, sounds, and mini-mods (ie. Nazi flag).

This is a re-make of fpsbanana. Rumours has it that there are lots of viruses but i've never encountered any in to 70 so skins i've downloaded. This is probably the biggest site for skins in dods.

Ya the visual upgrade pack is awesome from that site... But hands down my favorite would have to Willy's HUDs from there. I could not play DoDs with out it.

i remember having a rocket launcher that shot mountain dew soda cans in regular day of defeat. one of my favorite skins, but i cant find it anymore.

I use so many mods I have lost track:laugh:, but I have everything reskined most world textures too so my DoD graphics are awesome, including skins I have made.

The RNL to DoD:s sound pack I am making is about half done. I have not had much time to work on it, but also I have decided to put more sounds from RNL in the pack than just the weapon and player sound.

Hmmm i used to use FPS banana, didn't know it went down. But i used to get all my skins from there.

i downloaded my first skins ever...goin with SS for germans and easy company for allies...still tryin to get the allies skins working but all set on the rest of it...here are screenshots of the flags i downloaded...will put the rest up when i get em working...

Those are some of my favorites. The Wile DoD:s pack can change weapon sounds too if you want.

I don't use skins any more besides the HUD. But It should not mess with specs.

My entire game is edited with downloads from that site. Never encountered viruses. I'd think that's the best choice.

I got a horrible virus from FPSBanana, one that AVG could not pick up and Kapersky could only detect it but not do any thing about it. It would play entire TV infomercials:scared:, and turn my volume off. I almost went insane when playing DoD:s while listening to a Fabreeze, Billy Mays, and many more commercials in the background.:crying:
Luckily, the computer store/repair has a anti virus software that hackers don't even know about.
