New Monitor

I just built my new PC, and am currently using it so that means it works.

I'm looking for a 1080p monitor that's either 1680x1080 OR 1920x1080.

I have two 5970's in this computer and I got 350 dollars for Christmas, was planning on doing a couple things with that money.

Crysis 2 - PC
Homefront - Xbox
More fans for my PC
Monitor

My dad will probably pay for my fans so...
My budget is around 150 dollars, make sure it's no more than 175.

Definitely get a 1920x1080 at least, otherwise your completely wasting that system.

The two resolutions are 1680x1050 and 1920x1080, there is also a 1920x1200 option out there (Within your price range).

What connection(s) did you want and what size monitor did you want?

Since you wanted 1080p the 1680x1050 is out.

VGA, DVI, HDMI are the cables you can use to connect the monitor to the video card.

And Size in inches 22", 23.6", etc.

Today's monitors pretty much have a port for every connection, it won't really matter, just use what connectors/adapters you have. Someone just needs to suggest a monitor.

I think you should set up an eyefinity with your two 5970's that you got for free (so jealous)

Get like 3 19 inch monitors and put it in eyefinity.

If you look around forums, you can find monitors pretty darn cheap.

Good luck trying to find a 25.5 monitor for less than that. Reason why it's cheap is cus it's actually a TV. It's sammy too, get it. You have the green. I have that monitor and it'll blow your mind...

I have two of these badboys, picked em both up at bestbuy for less thatn $125 a pop odly enough. Never had a single issue and they are beautiful screens

I've been looking at this, and the only reason it has a "bad" review is because people are dumb.
Any thoughts on it?
