snow day

went to bed last night with about a half inch of snow on the ground...woke up this morning with 6 inches of snow and an email saying NADC is closed today...so..hopefully ill be able to make it to melee madness...that is if we are in fact having melee madness tonight...events have started back up...right?

At least you were home when it hit. I had to work Sunday night and by Monday morning the other shift was unable to come on...long story short...my 12 hour shift became a 24 hour shift. :angry:

I myself am getting beyond sick of the snow. Even though I live in NY and it does happen each winter, this winter is unbearable. The 26th there was 2FT, a few days ago another 6 inches, and tonight there is supposed to be at least another FT.

For long island this is kind of a lot, and it makes travel near impossible.

Last time I remember that it snowed in SW Florida, was back in the winter of '89. It was just flurries and they melted when they hit the ground. Now hurricanes, we had our share of hurricane days....lol
