And that's it. Comment on whatever can be improved, I know I missed disc drives, etc.

DDR2? Why? That RAM is just sticking out like a sore thumb; not to mention with your budget you should be able to squeeze another 580 in there.

As I said, don't know much about computers, threw it together in about 4 and a half minutes. Feel free to elaborate on other additions/changes to improve.

So I looked up your motherboard- that RAM won't work with it anyways. Grab yourself a good DDR3 kit or two- more in one stick is better! You only have 2 slots for it anyways on that board, if I read that correctly.

As to the motherboard itself... well, reflex or phobos will get back to you on that.

The total cost is around $2,425

Or you could do the same thing, but get 3xGTX 570 in tri-sli for $2,490

Btw, i took the combo deal parts. Its a really good combo build.

If you go tri-sli GTX 570's though, it looks like you may need to swap out the PSU for an even higher one.

Don't have enough to get tri SLI if I want to get a nice headset, keyboard, mouse, etc

Okay, so a couple of things jump out at me right away. First of all you want a minimum of 42 amps on the 12 volt rail for a 580(per nVidia) and the Antec you listed only has 30 per rail. Also, you only need 600w for a 580 so I'd point you in the direction of this PSU instead. Same cost, better unit, but won't handle 2 580s in SLI if that's where you're eventually headed.

As previously mentioned, the DDR2 RAM you picked out won't work. Go with perhaps this instead. Need more than 4gb? Double it, they're cheap, solid, and you max out at four sticks on that mobo.

The case is a bit over the top for my tastes and looks like a pain to keep dust out of, but that's personal preference anyway, overall Antec makes decent cases so I think you'll be fine.

I've got no opinion whatsoever on the monitor.

you need about 850w for sli 580s.

nVidia recomendation is grossly overrated to account for people with crappy PSUs.

I will post a build in a bit ;)
