EA login down?

every time i try to login, it says it won't connect, and my internet is good (derp) So I'm wondering, are the login servers down? I played for a good 10 minutes before it kicked me and told me I disconnected.

Is your game a steam copy? If it is then it should update automatically but you should maybe verify game cache. If however it is a retail copy you need to make sure it is completely up to date by running the BFBC2 Updater in your install directory. Try that and let us know what happens.

Try restarting game / computer. It worked for me.. I wasnt getting D/C'ed but i was having issues with ranking and scores..

EA online was down for a day or two... dunno why but now its working at least

It seems to be working fine as of now. For future reference, this problem is on EA/DICE's side of the proverbial fence so there's really not much we can do. Locking thread.
