ughh......... :facewall: i installed a pistol skin a while back and the the mann co. update broke it so i uninstalled it. the pistol is regular and everything is fine except for the weapon select icon. the weapon select icon is missing the texture now and that has really pissed me off :chair: I've tried everything to fix it: reinstalled teh game, verified the cache, reinstalled the skin to get the skin's texture for the weapon select icon, and after i reinstalled the pistol skin, the texture of the skin showed up but then the next server i joined (this server does allow skins) the texture was gone again :cursing: PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

Try turning off the steam cloud and deleting the skins manually? Then start the game again. Make sure to delete every folder the skin came with.
When you reinstalled you deleted the actual game folder after deleting the local game content in steam right? Or that wouldn't have done anything.

Most likely TF2 seeing as he mentioned the Mann Co update. Not that really matters since he already fixed the problem.
On a side note, it's been my experience that every time TF2 updates I have to reinstall my mods. Of course, I only used one so it may have just been that specific one.
