I was just curious if there were another Hams (Amateur Radio Operators) out there in the clan? I know its somewhat of a dieing hobby with cell phones and all, but i find it a great hobby. I've had my licence for almost 4 years now. I'm only a Technician, i have yet to master 5WPM morse code.

if so there are any others out there, maybe we could swap QSL Cards?

Thats something Ive actually been interested in for a long time now. Never made the leap into the hobby though.

Oh it is a great hobby, it is a lot of fun, I volunteer with my local club at events and we do communications. If you are at all interested, I would look into a local club, most of the time they are all open to the public. and they are very friendly, we are always trying to get more people interested. I myself only being 20 am one of the younger members of the club

I let my License expire about 5 years ago. Stupid me. I was kb5ovc with a novice license. In case of a disaster hammys will be there. --.- ..- .- -.-. -.-
