But the edgegamers journey for Zoomer has unfortunately ended. The past 3, yes count them, 3 years in eGO have been the best years of gaming I've had in my entire life.I've made so many friends, and experiences that I won't forget for a while (thanks to demos and screenies, obviously). I've seen all the changes throughout this division, from the start of eGO CS:S in January of 2008, to the start of this new year. And believe me when I say this, everything only went up in terms of progress. There were many bumps in the road along the way, but for the most part it's all smoothed out now.
A part of me feels that I'm leaving a family behind for something new, but then again the saying goes..."once a family, always a family."
You guys have been doing great work, and it shows. When people see the tag you wear with pride, they know exactly what you come from, a great organization. The admins are superb everyday, and the e's always are around to help out. It's one great big tight knit family...and that's essential for success.
I apologize if some of you find my goodbye paragraph offensive, those aren't my intentions. I'm not looking for sympathy nor attention, I think I've deserved a goodbye post, and that's always been the way I would've wanted to end it.
I'm testing the waters out now, but with college and all, I understand that in my life at the moment, gaming should not be a top priority anymore. Remember, you guys are the ones that boost the organization, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Not everyone belongs in edgegamers, but I'm very fortunate to have spent the last 3 years with people that do. So thanks for making the past years exciting for me as a gamer, and I look forward to still kicking your butts in highschool if you so choose to face me
But for what appears to be the last time, this is Zoomer,
signing off.
