In a heavily regulated future, entertainment is hard to come by. But of course, where there is any free time, there are sports, so the people of this time period always settle down to watch some exciting, family friendly mortal combat.

Wait, what?

Monday Night Combat is a game for the Xbox 360 and PC via Steam (currently in late public beta & on a small sale, act fast!) that takes elements of TF2, Tower Defense games, and RPGs and mashes them all together. I've been playing the PC version for the past couple of weeks now, and it's rather enjoyable, particularly for a indie game that's cheaper than TF2. That's right, even at base price, it's only $15!

I highly suggest checking it out, particularly if you like Hat Fortress... er, Team Fortress 2. The feel of the two are fairly similar, even if the mechanics are different.

Did I mention that you can buy 'tags' using in-game money to show off your accomplishments? :)

I have this game, and I can say it's a great game. It plays like TF2, and feels like Ratchet and Clank. Definetly a great game, and one someone should not miss out on.
