Motion to Change Title of MOD Division

We dont want the name back because of servers or we miss it... its the creation of our beings .. lets put it that way... we don't think by the name INS we will just cover that game.. it will just be our main one.




Gunney... the phrase "INS IS DYING" and that Leadership is the only one fighting for its survival its false. Even thou they vouch for it to Council... WE are the ones who are responsible for keeping the game alive, not leadership. And your theory is wrong, we don't just think of ourselves, and the division tags have nothing to do with this. Once INS was changed to MOD, Leadership gave us the option to keep whichever tag we like. Just because the name is different doesn't mean we have to follow it. That's what we are about, freedom, not following every damn thing you think we must. This is the point. We are free to do whatever the hell we like, and are not pinned to only one option. We have always been a different division than any other, and we always will be, and just because we are different does NOT mean we are not united. Stop with your false thoughts and realize that we are given this freedom because, simply, we are that awesome. Leadership, and every single MOD/INS (w/e) member related to the Recruiting or Event Coordinator's groups are trying to do their best to keep you motivated and entertained so YOU can keep INS alive. It is not up to Leadership, but to US to keep INS alive. If we all put a little bit more love into INS, Leadership wont have to deal with council to keep the servers. Now you need to understand the point and stop making a fool out of yourself.

Okay about the first part of your post, the least thriving game we support right now is not going to be the "Main game". It was in its time but development was canceled therefore a LOT of people dropped it. Not to mention there is no "Main Game" at the moment which is why most of the options are General ideas as names for the division. As was stated by yeti this isn't the deciding poll and i highly doubt as much as you push the measure they will not put the name back to INS.

Let it go bud. What are you talking about leadership had nothing to do with it? They had to convince council to keep the INS servers up. Give credit where its due. Also, i never once said leadership was the only one fighting for it all i ask is for you to acknowledge that they put as much effort as they could to keep it rolling. And yes its very selfish to think only of ONE game this division supports and completely dismiss the others that will become THE PRIMARY INCOME for this division. Like it or not.

The only reason you're able to put the INS tag on still is because it has yet to be removed which was on the list in the first place. You cant just ASSUME that since its still there leadership is like "Oh its cool you know keep it on even though this isn't the division's name anymore". You're acting like someone is intruding on your freedom, last i checked no one in this organization could do "whatever the hell they want". And I'm fine with it that way because if anyone could do what they wanted this would be nothing but a big freakin' mess and things like THIS would happen on the daily basis.

Hey man I'm right there with you i get into dust and seed it when i have the time, but you don't realize something i can sit in there for hours and not a single person will join. I spent more time on the daily basis in our servers in my time with eGO than most of you and I'm not sitting here holding onto a false hope. But that's completely irrelevant because time in a game is nothing to measure reason on. I have things to do so you have a good day sir.

Get real guys. All you people calling your self old school take a look at your hours on INS and tell me if you still play INS like you used to. Do we have people still interested in INS? YES. Is the player base what it used to be? NO. Will we keep our INS servers as long as we have people playing in them? YES. Will we take on new games for the division? Yes. Will we split into different divisions? NO. Counsel has made it clear that what ever we will be called we will still be one division. We opened this poll because we felt you were mature enough to be involved in the process. If this consistent bickering continues I will close this thread.

I don't know if you were at the time of the name change, but they let us use the INS tags in case we didn't want the new ones, so not a good idea to give false info to those who don't know. Also, if you've read more carefully I gave Leadership the credit, as well as every member that keeps helping INS, and believe what you want, INS is the main game. And I am pretty sure you know what exactly I meant by "doing w/e they want to". Leadership has their own reasons for putting up this poll. Since I know that what I'm saying is to be true, I explained to you why some of us voted for INS and how we feel about it, that's it. I don't see why you argue with me about it. Yeah im fine with what you guys are wanting, but like i said, BE CAREFUL FOR WHAT YOU WISH FOR. For this will be stuck with us for quite awhile now. and yes i respect your opinions as well. but idk if going back to Insurgency is the title i am wanting to go back to.

This is a very open poll to anyone who voices their opinion.

Now, I'm not saying either of you are correct, but going on a rant when someone takes an aggressive posture is not needed or wanted.

Don't post on this thread, if you wish to argue this point. Come see me in vent.

Personally, the name doesn't matter much to me. It matters to me the people I'm playing with. I voted for TAC, but I'm good with whatever is picked.

Death blade your logic is flawed because of the assumption that people will love insurgency. Considering the roll calls, we have less than 50 active members (excluding leadership) in this division. Of all of eGO there are less than 50 people that love insurgency. That is also giving the benefit of the doubt and saying that all of the members of this division still play insurgency. My point is that even taking the optimistic perspective shows how untrue your assumption is.

Recruits for RO2/Crysis2 will most likely stay in those games. Leadership, ya know, the guys responsible for keeping the insurgency servers around, is keeping the INS servers for those 50 players. The purpose of hanging onto these servers is NOT to take recruits from RO2 and put them into Insurgency. Not only will that fail miserably it is simply over-complicated. WHEN (not if) it comes time to eliminate the insurgency servers I would hope that everyone would stay in the division; however it would be foolish to think that all of you would even want to stay. That was the most difficult part of making our decision in leadership.

When leadership was asked, "Do you want to sink with Insurgency, or do you want to find a new game?," leadership answered that we would rather form a new division than be pushed out of eGO. The idea is to keep guys together. Unfortunately, I sense that many of you would not answer the same way. I would rather start a new game and hang out with my division buddies than to hang onto a dying game and be alone.

Also Death Blade, if you read through the posts you will see people voting for INS because they "miss it."
