Anything that sounds good. Metal, some dubstep, industrial, techno, heavymetal, rock, classical, Trance, Whatever. If you like it, post it up. Chances are I'll like it too. Unless its rap

Ambient?

Hmm... Prog? Tool and Dream Theater are good bands I've been into lately. There's also Cage The Elephant and Foxy Shazam. The Prodigy. Daft Punk. Sterophonics. Those are some good bands of all different styles. Oh and how could I forget Radiohead?

[Useful Idiot]

Opeth
Porcupine Tree

Both have large discographies and minus the first two opeth albums, outstanding production value.

I listen to The Prodigy, Pendulum, Daft Punk, and Cage the Elephant for the most part as far as artists are concerned. I also listen to a variety of songs I think are good but don't necessarily listen to the rest of the album, or is from a game. The soundtrack from Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future is an example. The only real dubstep I've listened to is Showtek.

As dumb as it sounds, I recommend you purchase soundtracks to movies. I find that I enjoy listening to the music from movies much more than the average songs you find on the radio. Here are some sound tracks I listen to (I've been listening to the same ones for mostly a while)

Pirates of the Carribean Soundtracks
Gladiator (2000) Soundtrack
Naruto Shippuden Soundtrack
Watchmen Soundtrack

Any movie that you like the music, you should consider getting the soundtrack.

[Finkle Doodle]

Industrial, I suppose you have some Nine Inch Nails? How to Destroy Angels is good as well, it's Trent's other project.
