yea I got one too back in December 2010 during the big sale but I am not stupid enough to fall for these...my account is worth a lot anyway so I gotta be proactive regarding security

I probably shouldn't of clicked on the link in an identical email I got then. Uh oh.

No but really, if you do do that, make sure you change your password IMMEDIATELY after you clicked it. Also make sure you have your recovery email set up.

i was playing CSS one day and got a friend invite from STEAM Staff, and it said i one a free game. Turns out it was a scam and someone hacked my account

Guys lets just remember that Steam will NEVER ask you to provide your e-mail address/username & password to confirm ANYTHING with your account.
