I think even EA was surprised with...how good this game turned out.
Bought it full-price back in 10/2008 (it still looks fantastic)
The game looks great, and if you have surround sound you're in for a treat.
The levels are fairly linear; mostly spaceship corridors with only one way to go. There's a feature where you press a button and a dim blue glowing line shows you which way to go. They call it the 'breadcrumb' trail - it makes a map totally unnecessary - you'll never feel lost or unsure where to go in this game.
I couldn't help but feel like I was playing Bioshock set in a spaceship. It can be kinda scary in places, it's just like, I dunno, when you're walking down a corridor, and a dead body comes back to life, it's spooky; however, when EVERY corridor you walk down has a dead body, and EVERY corpse comes back to life, it's just not that scary anymore, it's just part of the game.
Still a fun game though, and worth the sale price
