anyone else intrest sparked by this game?

also it looks very much influenced by tf2 (perhaps why pre ordering gets you tf2 content in game) oddly enough the content is for MNC and not tf2 haha usually games give you tf2 stuff

Yeah, I've been playing it in beta for the past month or so... its really addicting if you like this sort of game. Sadly, yesterday was the official release, so you can't get it at the (slightly) cheaper price it was at... still, it's only $15.

Also, the items go both ways: MNC has a new 'gear' feature currently populated by TF2 themed additions, while the scout in TF2 gets a Bullseye (the MNC mascot) outfit and hat... oh, and everyone else gets a classless hat.

I highly suggest giving this a go, particularly if you like TF2, the games play differently but they have the same general 'feel', if you will. And it's really fun :D
 
yeah sorry i didnt see any other posts about it but it looks very tf2y iv watched a few vids of the console version of teh game looks fun...i forsee me assassinging it up
 
I've owned the game on Xbox since it's release.

Yes it is a good game, fun, competitive, team oriented.
 
Naku, I've been playing it a lot, and I really like it. The best way I could describe it would be some sort of hybrid between TF2, Unreal Tournament, and any tower defence game. It's really, really fun though, and I think it's priced fairly for what they offer.

Hopefully I'll see you on MNC or TF2 soon. It's been a while. ;)

I've really been enjoying it. Lorberry sent me a guest pass and I bought it before the 24 hours were up.
 
I tried this one out when they did the TF2 cross-promotion. I have to say it's pretty dang fun, and addicting. I'm like #357 of 55,000+ and I have played it long enough to see if it would be boring after a time. It's not, and I'm going to play it when this post is done. There seems to be more strategy involved and I have many incredibley tense games. I find myself more challenged against individual opponents than in most games, as well. It's definitely TF2-ey, but also definitely unique in it's own way. There is more emphasis on base defense, so it adds a frenetic pace, but the matches are (relatively) short so you have a chance to compose yourself, change your shorts, whatever...

For $15 or less, you really can't go wrong. You will get pwned at first, but stick with it (like all games ...and life)

It does give you tf2 stuff

2 hats and the scouts socks (socks soon to be worth ALOT)

I hear that only about 4k (including me) pre-ordered this game, and got the sweet stuff.
