So there this crazy guy in dod division called YSD. He has a mind of his own and wants to know if anyone is interested in helping us with this idea.

We dont know the result yet, but it might be something for all divisions.

Yes, this idea can be implemented into any of our shooter games :w00t:

Idea is cool but what abot little countries like mine (croatia) for exam there are like 3people from croatia and only 2 have tf2 :S

Well at that point we scale it up, and team it up, like, lets say eastern europe (no offense), and if that is not enough, we expand further. I even questioned him later on the thread

and to further prove my point, there are currently only 2 danish guys signed up; me and blue kaoz... we create team scandinavia

Yea okay, We could just have held this event idea for ourselves... and only ask the MOD guys next time. I started asking CSS first, and they seemed to like it. So if I didn't ask in the other divisions, (that are suitable for this ofc) it would be discriminating, which i do not approve...

Posting issues aside, I like this idea.

The logistics wouldn't be too hard, since a particular scrim team should be the same time zone. The problem comes into play when you try to match up, say, Pacific Time Zoner's with Europeans. But that could be worked out I guess.

panzer mentioned to me he was gonna post this, but I have been too busy to go check it out. Alas, here I am now though.

Yes, there is a 99% chance DoD:S is going to do this scrim thing. Yes there is a 90% chance it will be successful, and yes, there is a 95% chance I will want to expand it to be a large cross-divisional event.

I already have the logistics/rules of it set up for DoD and it wouldn't be hard at all to transfer that over to other divisions if interested. If you have any questions, ask me. If you guys would like to give this a shot in TF2, I am willing to work with your event coordinators to see to it that it gets done (Leadership backing would be helpful...Kevi & Co).
