so, my old NES is starting to run worse do to old age, so i bought a new 72 pin connector replacement to see if that would make the games look better.
after about 30 minutes, everything was back to it's original state, ready to go with the new connector in place.
after loading up LoZ, the game looked HORRID. the ground was pitch black, everything was off, and everything looked "grainy".
any help is much appreciated!

. If it's just LOZ doing that, it might be the cartridge and not your console. Honestly, you might want to try looking around for a forum about restoring old consoles.
