I remember the Halloween map during Halloween; it was darker and had pumpkins around the map.
 
The halloween map is still here, its the new perm map. It replaced the snow map.

They had a vote on what the community wanted to keep. And the christmas map wasn't anything special. It was just the snow map from summoners rift that was used for a year or so.

And Keeper of the Forest is an exact ripoff of Rooftrellen the Treant Protector from DOTA, down to the abilities. Living trees aren't new to fantasy, just read The Lord of the Rings. I could care less if they share a similar theme, as long as their abilities are different and interesting.

iuno, IMO a port isn't a ripoff. it was never a secret it was supposed to be roof

empath is supposed to hit HoN and Karma was announced with some rumored empath abilities.... dunno what happened there
