so i bought me a new q6600 last week running it on my Nforce 680I SE motherboard. When i bought the processor i asked the tigerdirect sales dude if the two would work well together. My mistake being i listened to him. So he is like yea yea they are pretty sweet good for over clocking which i intended to do. When i get some i take a second look at my motherboard and see a little message. Not overlockeble with quad processors. Well i got pretty pissed after reading that. Then moral of this story is, well there is not really one just DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. =D
Good Luck

Rule number 1 - I am the exception to virtually every rule.

Rule #2 - never ask a sales person technical questions.

... but isnt that obviouse? You should ask sales people sales questions and technical people technical questions.

I always tell my customers that they should never trust a salesman. I am looking out for their best interests, and that is the truth. But honestly, they have no way of knowing if I am or not, so I often encourage them to do some research to see that I am infact not taking advantage of them.

It always turns out that pretty much anyone who uses my practically free services will trust noone else but me, and if i told them to buy a grapefruit and plug a keyboard into it they would. I honestly apreciate it, and genuinely I will always look out and take care of them and they CAN trust me liek that - but its difficult because at teh same time I end up giving lectures about how dangerouse it is and that they shouldnt do it.

Further evidence that they know they can trust me. That's the common responce. -(0_O)-
