l4d2 is crashing

ok guys so when i try to open l4d2 i get this msg Engine Error: Could not Load Library Client anybody know how to fix this?

Try to verify game cache (right click the game, select properties, and it should be in one of the tabs). If this doesn't work, you may want to uninstall and reinstall the game
