1997- Redneck Rampage for the Pc (Dos game)

1999- Area 51 for the arcade machine

Goldeneye. Interesting story about that; we were kind of behind on games for a while, so although I had a GBA, our first console was an N64 in the early 2000's. We didn't know of that many games for it, but my brother said something like "Oh, I played this at a friend's house once, it was pretty fun."

We had no idea it was one of the most famous console FPS's of all time

My first FPS was either Doom or Wolfenstein 3D. I moved on up to Duke Nukem 3D after those. My first online FPS was probably Counter-Strike 1.3. My dad and I played his copy of Half-Life on the PC when one of my friends had mentioned that if you own Half-Life you had access to a free copy of CS 1.3. Oldschool games right there

When I was 5 or so I had a DOS computer in my room and I played games from the old 5 1/2" floppy disks.

First FPS

My first FPS must have been Doom 2 or Heretic when I was just a little guy back in 1994 or so, when I played on my older brother's computer. Then I remember Goldeneye in 1996. My first real favorites were Half-Life and Rainbow Six in 1998. As far as the FPS spectrum is concerned those two games are polar oppposites but they were both so damn awesome.
