cs1.6 who would like to play it?

hey, how you guys doing?
I'm starting this thread to see how many of you guys would like to play cs1.6.
I know its a little older game but as you can see there are more then 20000 servers still up and running. In the CAL a big majority of gaming is dedicated to 1.6.
Now i just joined but as i can see this is a very good clan, serious about gaming and play allot of great games. I personally think 1.6 would be a great addition to EGO.
But i also realize servers cost money and i don't have a big say in this clan nor is it any of my business what the council or who ever makes decision want to add to the clan. So why not maybe set up a vote or check with other players who would be interested in playing CS1.6 because i know for a fact there is allot of completive gaming in 1.6.
Id love to hear from you guys on what you guys have to say on this topic.

I know this topic was made awhile back but I really do think that the "Edgegamers Organization" should extend to Counter-strike 1.6. I believe this clan would go even farther than it already has. I dont know about the rest of you but I think that v3n0 here has a great idea.

We already are in Counterstrike Source.


The thing about 1.6 is that most of the players already have found their favorite servers and play exculsively on them. Also, since Css isnt as old, there is more people playing it and more people who buy the game, giving us a greater chance of having a filled server as opposed to 1.6.

we'd be unlikely to go to any oldie games, but if we do I recommend DOD classic first.

DOD 1.3 would be a bad move since you'll never get anyone new. Let it slowly die no point of going back to it. Of course I still pub it sometimes but if you you would go to a old game then best 1.6 where theres still a large population of people playing it

It's a kind of a bad idea..

Counter-Strike 1.6 has a lot more punks than TF2, CS:S, and DOD:S put together.

I dunno about the rest of you guys. But this answers a lot. I would have to agree, we have to go towards the direction that has potential growth.

Yes, you might not think that there is growth but, i must say there was a few gamers that decided to run the eGO clan into 1.6 almost a year ago without knowing the consequences and i went to the site before it was deleted and they had alot of members in that week it was going.
