missing in dod

What is needed in dod is one or two vehicle that you can drive. We had a personell carrier in the old cs which we drove from our spawn to the under ground garage, so they cant say they cant do it. A number of guys jumped in the back and one drove, quite a laugh really. Again the good old days. :thumbup1:

It would be cool, but it would need a map meant for it.. A map that coincides with some vehicle mod.. Personally I like the all infantry aspect, but the german rocket is mainly an anti vehicle weapon..

IIRC there where a couple maps that have mobile tanks you must plant TNT on....the ability to mod's out there... we just need someone who cares about DOD:S enough :3

Lol ya beat me to it. I used to be in a high-ranked guild for BF1942 and I was crazy-good at it. It does have all of this and more. And some huuuuuge maps too.

cs_siege? the ct tank? that was a disaster, it couldn't move for crap, it didn't even fit in the garage lol and you could kill your entire team if they just bump into it. Not a fan of vehicles in dods, but bf1942 (in particular Desert Combat mod, sick) is where it's at. Can't wait for BF3

Have you guys ever played empires? It's a mod on the source engine and it has amazing vehicles. Vehicles on DoD:s can be done. There would have to be maps specifically made for them so you could actually use them effectively. I'd love to take a crack at it but I know nothing of vehicle scripting, animation, or modeling and I can barely map at all on hammer.
