If you're Canadian, you should sign this petition - especially if you use stuff like Steam and Netflix. If you're not Canadian, sign it anyway to help us!

They're CRTC and the evil company Bell Canada are trying to impose usage based billing on us...25GB/month..-____-

I used to use Rogers Internet, with 60GB/month. I switched to Teksavvy and I have 200GB/month. Now, it was all for nothing. There is also a Steam thread going on.

Signed. I already get nailed for overages on my internet at 50gB/mo. They will not gouge me out of any more money when it is completely unnecessary.

Am Canadian. Signed.

I have Bell at 25GB. But I added $10 for 80GB more usage.

Wow... They don't learn at all. Present-day Egypt coming to modern first-world countries if this trend continues.

Update: -

Canadian government heard all the emails + messages (probably scared of all the voters who use the Internet (i.e. all of them)).

Will reverse the decision next week if CTRC doesn't "review" their decision.

CTRC is independent, but the government can overrule them if they wanted to.

I live in Michigan. That pretty close to Canada.

*Signed*

Thanks for the support everyone. So far, there's 400K+ signatures. Keep 'em coming!

I'm not Canadian, nor do I live close, but I love Canadian beer.

Signed.

I'm plenty ticked off by Telus's disconnects, Shaw's throttling of networks and Roger's pricing.

$30 a month for 5 down, .8 up? Stupid CRTC
