This is for anyone that snipes or wants to snipe. I've been asked how I pull off some certain shots and what not (particulary dragshots) and well, this person is basically where I learned all of that. I spent about a day doing what he does in this video on an empty server.

If you like the guide for recon, you should really watch his montages.

This is a good video, but a lot of people already know a good amount of the stuff that he does. It's still useful for some newer players, though.
 
He actually gives some really good pointers for players who haven't done much Recon!!
 
Awesome post Panda. You and Boxer are gonna lose everything that makes you special.
 
very good video, but the best thing to do. is just keep usein the recon .. soon enough you will get use to how it shoots and everything
 
It's working for me Panzer right now. Could have been youtube problems or something thought.

Lol, Boxer this is for sniper hate, not engineers that snipe with a rocket launcher! :thumbup1: Tho as Im sure the group of people that can take out the uav with an AT4 is pretty small, even people that would try often has to be small. Question though boxer, do you brush your teeth with the AT4?
 
Would anyone be interested in some videos showing some good sniping spots on various maps? I might need 1 or 2 people to help with a couple of them.
 
I'm quite jealous of that fact liquid. We should see if any of the AOD guys wanna come play on eGO's servers for a few rounds just to see how we fare against them. :D
 
I'm doing a write-up on what would normally be in video-form of the hiding spots as well as my personal kit loadout with the why's answered. On top of this there's some general tips that I've placed up top of the document in order to simplify the hiding spot described in specific later. I'll bump and edit in the attachment once it's completed, if you'd like to get an up-to-date copy of the unfinished form to help spellcheck or criticize it, then contact me on steam later tonight or at any time that I'm online.

If anyone knows how to balance the sound between my voice on vent/mic with the game sound without sacrificing the game sound almost entirely, that'd be awesome. I'm not technologically stupid, I've just never bothered with video editing or sound editing. In fact, here's the last thing I uploaded to YT back when I worked on the borderlands speed run planning for SDA.

This is also roughly the same quality video I'd be providing. I don't know how to improve it without re-recording, so unless someone can tell me, that's about what you'd get if I did some gameplay commentary stuff later on.
