Great job people. I can't wait until I get a chance with my work schedule to play.

Nice job Allies, that was an exciting week 1!

Perhaps the most intense and long 3-4 minutes of my realism life on Saturday was when Cinc. Boyle, Col. Megs A Tagger, Sgt. Osugobucks, and myself were the last 4 alive on defense, holed up in a long, narrow alley. The Col. and myself were the farthest back, prone with our M1s, with the Sgt. setup on top of the tank with his trusty 30cal, and our beloved Cinc. leading by example up front.

3 bloodthirsty Axis solders remained, and time seemed to move in slow motion as they hunted us. When the first 2 finally found us, we were able to send them to their makers, but not before they took our Cinc. with them. (Note: There is some debate though as to whether our Cinc's demise was hastened by a friendly 30cal round fired into his posterior in the heat of the action.)

So then it was 3 of us, and 1 of them -- the infamous German known as 'EstellFtw', known as much for his frequent visits to the occupied town of Donner as well as his skill with the sniper rifle.

30 seconds remained, and then 20. We held our breaths and dug in. 15....I saw a flash of movement, strained my eyes to see if they were playing tricks on me, and then a shot rang out. I heard a thud and looked up to see Osugobucks' lifeless body, blood streaming from his facial cavities.

I desperately fired twice at nowhere in general, and then, realizing time was on our side, screamed at the Col. to hide, and curled up into a corner and prayed. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....

Game over man, game over. =)

You forgot the part where Osugobucks remained inhumanly suspended over open air for four and a half minutes with his machine gun...with nothing but his feet and elbows holding his body up.

Abs of steel!
