Ok, over an Hour in the eGO server and not a single kill ? That's pretty sad ! I'm asking if anyone is willing to train me to aim, shoot, and play better. I mean even though I'm constantly dying I'm still having fun but a kill once in a while would be great not just be stuck with a 0 kill and high death score. I'd like to make some kills but oddly my bullets seem to be chicken and that once they leave the gun they flee in a direction other than into the enemies flesh.

What's your sensitivity set too? Problems getting kills can be due to the lack of motion your reticle moves per mouse movement. I have an on the fly adjustable DPI mouse, so i have mine set to around 6 sensitivity in game. It really helps with aiming and recoile control. I'd say for one move across a medium sized mouse pad, you should make 4 or 5 360s atleast. But yea... this is one of those things that helps aiming a lot.

cl_crosshairscale 1660
always keep crosshair at head level

also, my sensitivity is 1.86 right now, but I started out at 14 lol it's a matter of taste, just try to find one that you like

If you would like training, please add me on steam. I would be happy to help you out in anyway I can. ;)

yeah perhaps make a small gathering of it, a "practice session" or a "one-time class" i'd also love to learn how to aim (mainly for scrims)

TIP: if you crouch or stand still for a split second with M4 or AK, first bullet is ALWAYS as accurate as an AWP is when standing still. POINT. BLANK. ACCURACY.

sensitivity is the least of your worries - you can play at ANY sens and be godly, you just need to get used to what you're going to use.
i use a very high sens (mostly because i usually scout) and still do quite well - even tho its like 4x that of anything people will say you need to have in order to be good

crosshair size is pretty relative too - i like to have it very small, but that just helps me pinpoint the exact middle of the crosshair.
mostly its about anticipation, patience and control.

im not 100% sure but i think theres still basic training instructors in eGO right? even tho we don't have a server for it anymore

If you are going to use a rifle, say an AK, burst 2-3 shots always.

If you are spraying, spray only at close range and when you do spray, spray only at the feet since the recoil is building which will make you shoot higher, so spraying at the feet rather than the head will boost your chances of getting the kill and/or headshot.

Make you utilize all of your grenades- Most people dont use them all, but since you get an automatic $16,000 per round, might as well use em.
If you completely run out of ammo, most of the time its better to pick a gun off the ground rather than knife

Experience is the best kind of training.

Tips- fire in bursts, and aim for the head

add me on steam, cskain and ill hit you up sometime with a friendly scrim itll have good people in it who are willing to help you out with skill

high sens = higher trial of miss , but easier flicks but thats what your arms are for.
aim comes naturally, I haven't been this good for my whole life. well nevermind i have.

Apparently I will never be good. I've been playing CS:S for like 2 and a half years now and I still suck.

again its all what you're used to - muscle memory is a powerful thing

Sensitivity and crosshairscale make no difference, just work out the firing pattern
for you with the gun.
I use crosshair 9999 and LOW sensitivity.
